R ichard Member 75 Member For: 3y 10m 27d Posted 02/03/21 04:25 AM Share Posted 02/03/21 04:25 AM Afternoon guys, brought a 2007 ford falcon xr6 with 118,000KMs cars making 290HP on 98 fuel,1st nice car I have owned before, had it around 4 months, few weeks ago I was driving to work when a dog run out on the road just before I was going over a speed bump I hit the right front wheel kind of hard and the check engine light came on, now it idles/drives rough I took it to the ford dealership for a service and a check over and they reckon its because there's no cat catalytic converter on the exhaust, ford hooked the car up but the cars computer wouldn't talk to there's, guessing the shop who tuned the car has locked the ecu? do you reckon its worth getting ford to replace the oxygen sensors and see if that fix's it? thanks for reading this mods by last owner NZEFI stage 1&2 package -FG intake system -cat back exhaust system -v8 air box -exhaust headers - SCT-X4 tuning module -Dyno tune Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ford can't fix the issue if there is a high flow cat fitted hence sending you on your way.
