Car drives so good!!! Its so different to what is was before. The IMS diff hat appears to help keep the car going straight, not really sure how to explain it. Bit of 2nd gear burn and the rear end felt like it was far more stable and didn't want to skate around so much. Power comes on so smoothly, not as laggy as I was expecting. But that's probably because I've been used to my brothers gtx3584 rig. Continuing the comparison, I've forgotten how smooth my car is to drive too. Everything is so tight. I used to have a clunk during gear changes, turns out the main diff bush was flogged - not that it matters any more lol. There is absolutely zero slop now in the shifts, in the acceleration and deceleration. Just. Incredible. Car is going back in a few weeks, probably after I'm back from South Africa. I am getting a multi tune done, and this is solely because of some really, really, amazing people out there helping me out with the credits. I was stunned when I was someone was paying for it, truly. I had no words. Everyone on this forum has been nothing short of amazing when it comes to helping me become less of a noob and attempting to do the work on the car myself. Thank you all!!!!! 1

Been here before 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I'm gonna buy a torque wrench Did a pull on the freeway last night and had this odd noise coming from the engine, I knew exactly what it was because I've heard it before. Exhaust leak between the head and manifold. Got it home, and saw this beauty. Took the stud out and got a lovely spiral as seen above. There are 2 like this. Both are ali and not helicoils from before job. I had a suspicion, the stud itself was sticking out way more than the rest. WG is off, coolant feed is off, hot side piping off. Will have the manifold off tonight. I have to fix this before the 18th for roll racing, and I leave on the 1st for SA and back on the 16th. 😂 Luckily I've done this before, so I'm very confident in what I'm doing. Disassembly wise, and fixing the holes.
