So does that mean it wouldnt be anything to do with overboosting or tuneing if it still does it when its plumbed straight to wastegate Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96039-boost-cut-issues/page/2/#findComment-1700360 Share on other sites

Either way this will give the same result, no boost until 5000rpm, and let you know whether the actuator is the issue. You'll have the stock actuator on your stuffed turbo so swap it over while you're there. Get the factory actuator on this cheap junk set up and see if it works or if in fact the smaller rear housing is creating additional flow and compounding the situation Expand FTFY 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96039-boost-cut-issues/page/2/#findComment-1700404 Share on other sites

A stock actuator could fix it but there is a chance it wont. The wg hole could still be too small or the comp could flow too much and it could still overboost anyway. #tunalyfe Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96039-boost-cut-issues/page/2/#findComment-1700406 Share on other sites
