The trick is you dont use your heel. You roll the ball of your foot.

I can heed toe in my manual F6 , But just learn to left foot brake. 

Maybe I’m missing something but not sure how you would go about engaging the clutch while on the brakes?

Could easily make an adapter plate to reposition the throttle.

This is the problem I’m having too mate, thanks for the pic there I haven’t seen that one before. I think I might need to have a better look at the pedal box and see what I would be up against

That's for a conversion. I actually don't think it would be very easy to relocate the throttle keeping the box.

Probably better off cut/weld, bend, or cut/plate the throttle pedal itself.

I can roll in a work boot, but in a normal shoe it's just not consistent enough, plus you need perfect foot placement, which just isn't reliable enough when your on the edge of traction aiming for a wall.

When I blip the throttle I dont use the clutch to down shift.  Try it.

Just looked it up didn’t think it was possible in a synchro box - learn something new every day

Cheers Gaz, yeh the pedal box itself is a very awkward shape, would have been much easier if it was firewall mounted. Pedal mod is definitely one way. Would be good to see if there’s a way to rig something up that would relocate the pedal-to-box holes, probably much easier said than done
