Head gasket arrived today, will fit it tomorrow to be ready for driving on Friday and racing on Saturday. Also picked up a couple of jerrys of E85, it's $2.17 at the pump but $3.20 at the tracks. I'll drive the car home on 98 though, just give it a quick tune at the servo and it'll be sorted.

Well it's taken me exactly 3 hours to disassemble, clean and get the new head gasket fitted. I'll let it sit for an hour or so and check the torque again then put the rest of the sh*t back together. Should have it finished of this evening, maybe tomorrow morning depending on how farked I can be to work on it.

I dunno about you, but I couldn't get a head gasket replacement done in 3 hours ;) he's saying you might have gone too fast and made a stuff up... but who cares :) if you did, you'll fix it because #pro-backyard-mechanic

Just to be clear, that wasn't rushing in any way shape or form. If I was rushing I would have done it in 2 hours or less. And it's not like I haven't built several 1000hp+ engines before...
