The crank is dowelled, the trans is back in and I'll finish everything else tomorrow. Beer time :beeer:

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the other day I got bored so I plumbed my wastegate into the exhaust. While a screamer pipe is hectic, it's not what I want for a street car. It has a slip fit to the wastegate dump so I can make up another exhaust piece when I want to run a screamer again.

Glad you got her locked up. Just some dark humour, if the bell housing sounds like a rattle can ever again in the future, it will be good to see the dowels still taking up the load.

Done some more digging. A letter V drill bit comes in close at 9.6mm. NFI where you can get one of those from at a normal price locally. Found a 2 flute carbide bit for $126USD plus shipping. No farken chance that's happening. #reamer

Woohoo it's alive again! Everything buttoned up, transfer case service done, E85 topped up and a successful test drive done.

It's so much quieter with the screamer plumbed in and the car still hauls ass.

Happy days :)

is that just cut expanded and slipped around the other gate pipe?

I put a flexy thing in mine just to make it easier to get on the gate.

Yep that's exactly how it is. Because I have a 2 piece dump the second piece that has the wg provision just slips in and lines up.

Rang the dyno place today and I'm waiting for a call back. Lucky they didn't get me down there straight away cos I figured I would go for a quick test drive and the farker was breaking up a bit. Came home, gapped plugs down to 0.4mm, turned boost up, car did what it was supposed to. Haha still waiting for a call but at least I got it sorted before I went down there.
