Well theres not much difference between non turbo and an xr6 besides body and interior differences.

Non turbo and turbo there's big differences. Rods, pistons, injectors, fuel reg, exhaust valves, transmission differences and also the non turbo have a butterfly system in the intake manifold that the turbo doesn't use. Fuel pump.

Wiring is different also. Different map sensor.

That's correct - from BA onwards base models are non- turbo XR6s have identical engines. Prior to that (E series and AU) the XR6s have mildly modified engines compared to the base.

yes, N/A XR6 and XT are pretty similar other than body kit and a better suspension setup on the XR, XR seats, XR dash etc.
