Turbo Ghia vs F6X Exhaust.

Having previously owned a 2005 turbo Ghia, I read up on the limiting factors in the exhaust.

I had the split pipes (from the turbo end), central muffler (with the bung) removed, and all replaced with one length of 3". Not sure if it made much difference in performance, but it sounded great.

Anyway! I had to sell that old POS as it had a record breaking amount of rust.

I'm about to buy an F6X (dependant on a thorough inspection!), and was wondering if the exhausts were the same? I have tried searching, but there were too many results, and after a lot of reading I gave up...so, sorry if this is a repeat thread.

Any other advice for other improvements in exhaust or intake?

the exhaust is the same, as far as I know.

intake is slightly more open on the F6X (of the same models), but it's not a gainful mod in comparison to a proper intake and tune.

Hey guys, Long time reader, first time poster. I just picked up my very own territory turbo and now buying bits and pieces for mods. so far I have the Plazmaman cooler sitting in the shed but nothing else, the plan is to do all the mods (all the usual) at once and tow it to the tuners. I have an exhaust question, whilst we are on the topic. Does anyone know if it worth paying for entire turbo back exhausts or can one get away with a "debung" and the 4" dump pipe and high flow cats by venom? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Venom-Ford-Territory-Turbo-FPV-F6X-High-Flow-Cat-Pipe-Exhaust-Catalytic/253112362237
