Quick question fellows, car vibrates and  shudders in low acceleration even while the car is idle and in P if accelerates.

I know about the tail shaft balancing thing but as far as I know tail shaft vibration happens when the car not stationary

anyone have any idea

well, the tailshaft won't wobble/vibrate if the car isn't moving, unless you've got weird diff mechanical issues.

it's likely either the engine is imbalanced (not likely) or the engine mount(s) have failed.

Do you reckon it’s the torque converter and flex plate ?

I replaced the tranny and I think I messed up a lil with the flex plate and can feel some clunk noise in torque converter too

probably flex plate is a lil bent?

It’s like a truck noise shifting down gears

Ok so flex plate looks ok no bent in it nothing wrong, probably the torque converter is playing up a lil or it could be the Engine mounts

anyone know how to change the engine mounts? It’s N/A not turbo

thanks

no surprise the flex plate is OK on an N/A... haha turbo usually causes 'em to crack etc.

engine mounts you jack up the engine separate to the jacked up car and unbolt/bolt the new ones into place. not a simple job without the right jacking equipment.
