Hubber New Member 14 Member For: 5y 11m 22d Posted 19/04/20 11:51 AM Share Posted 19/04/20 11:51 AM I'm considering buying the 1400hp half shafts from the driveshaft shop. My Fg makes 814hp and I don't want to have to do the diff or half shafts again. I'm in a wheelchair and I need to be able to get in my car and have no issues. Has anybody used these or the 700hp versions, any and all recommendations would be really apreciated! Apologies if this topic has been covered but I couldn't find anything when I used the search. Typhoon Member 564 Member For: 20y 2m 2d Gender: Male Posted 19/04/20 12:37 PM Share Posted 19/04/20 12:37 PM RIPSS runs them she makes 2000hp and run 7.7 @ 187mph tested enough. I have them, they are top quality, cant break them! Expensive to buy and install by the time you do trutrack and diff hat, bushs etc.
Hubber New Member 14 Member For: 5y 11m 22d Posted 20/04/20 08:59 AM Author Share Posted 20/04/20 08:59 AM How long has RIPSS used them for? I'm just thinking it will be cheaper in the long run, at the moment the standard ones are not lasting long and because I wasn't on to it straight away they have flogged out the diff bearings so it's going to have to be rebuilt again. Really hoping someone who has used them can give me some first hand info before I pull the trigger.. I just re-read what you wrote Typhoon! How much power you making mate?? RIPSS has run dozens of passes on hers and I’m pretty sure she has gone 1.3 in the

Tom Tucker Donating Members 669 Member For: 5y 4m 26d Posted 21/04/20 09:51 AM Share Posted 21/04/20 09:51 AM I'm told the 700hp ones used to have a 1000hp rating, but they dropped them back so people would buy the 1400hp ones. They haven't changed at all, and bolt straight in
Hubber New Member 14 Member For: 5y 11m 22d Posted 22/04/20 12:01 AM Author Share Posted 22/04/20 12:01 AM I read that somewhere aswell, the price difference is only $300 so I think I'm just going to get the 1400hp ones.
