Should I buy a kit from process west, or save a couple of hundred and buy one from someone like antz?

Debating wether to also purchase the metal intake elbow. Does it need to be replaced? ie. can it split or blow out like the plastic pipes can? Really not sure wether I should keep the stock factory elbow or purchase the metal aftermarket ones.

The metal elbow kit replaces that join with a silicone joiner.
