Whattayameanbro New Member 4 Member For: 5y 26d Posted 02/03/20 06:17 AM Share Posted 02/03/20 06:17 AM Ok guys need abit of advice , I have a 420 kw xr6 turbo bf ute ...with a stock driveline and suspension set up , I’m looking at changing shocks but I’m not sure which way to go , pedders offers a few different types, but I’ve been put onto billstein by a suggested tyre shop who sounded very genuine , the billstien 2 way adjustmentable shocks are Nearly triple the price of the pedders brand at 5.5k , I’m just wondering what you guys have done to gain traction ... a coil over conversion is very costly , so I’m wondering if it’s worth it too put 4 link in, coil over conversion ? Or go with a custom leaf spring and adjustable shocks ... aim is to get 10s down the quarter , but still be able to take it sideways on track days like power cruise if possible Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shockworks front coilovers, rear adjustable dampers.Then either a set of caltracs or Mal wood tramp rods. If you go with the caltracs you can fit a rear sway bar. Installing struts isn't an overly difficult mechanical job. Setting them up correctly in terms of hardness and height is something that'll be unique to how you want your car to behave, but you can go with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
