Hey my friend owns an fg xr6 non turbo (2010)  and he thinks he's top sh*t. He's saying he beats v8 commodores all the time and how quick the automatic in his car is.

 

Just a few questions. How special is the automatic? He says its faster than a manual and I doubt that somewhat

Uhh any possibility that he could beat V8s with a car with a 0 to 100 time of around 15 seconds? 

I dont own a falcon but he thinks hes topsh*t and is a really big know it all. Wanted to know from people that actually know what they're talking about. Not sure what the rules are for this website but I dont own one, I own an impreza lol.

The zf 6sp auto are actually pretty good, deff quicker than the manual when handled by a flog like ya mate.
An SS from the 90s maybe. The rest were probally unaware he was even racing.

FG NA XR6 was good for low 7 sec 0-100, would stay with most pre-LS1 hommusdores

Yeah, N/A can beat some older commos but who cares? Older does not equal better. When you can beat fast cars, then you've got some bragging room, not when beating slow 5L V8 and V6 commos.
