First stop your dealer they may do some mods and their work will be covered by warranty and their work won't affect Ford's warranty. Herrods are pretty safe, but a little pricey.

Thanks for the welcome ppl.

It's great to have somewhere to talk without any whinging Expensive Daewoo fans.

I have to ask though, I am keen to increase my machines potential but am not sure what I can do without voided the engine warrenty?

Any ideas or suggestions will be a big help.

Cold air induction & BMC filter, Underdrive pulleys, Herrod throttle body Helix plate, twin 2.5 Mandrel bent hotdogs to replace your centre muffler should get you another 35 - 40 kW, then you can go a set of pacemaker or DePhillipo extractors later, regardless of that I would wait until you've 4 - 5000klm before you start, as you'll notice ther car will get quicker with a few thousand ks on it as the motor frees up. ;)

:ta:

Spent the morning putting small pieces of rubber around and under the back parcel tray and in the gap between the front pass side windscreen pillar and the edge of the dash to take away 2 annoying little rattles that became obvious about 3 days after the pedders suspension setup was fitted :ermm: . In a word the Blue Beastie is now PERFECT :thumbsup:

Hey fellas,

Don't like to brag on the XR6T website but I done my mates XR6T on a

private road last night. :danceforme:

It was a pretty good feeling. Heap of mates watching. They all payed

homage to the awsome power of the BOSS260. :hrmm:

Got to ask though....

Does anyone else get sick of ppl driving really slow in front of you

cause they think your a cop car? It seems to happen a lot.

SicCar,

Now let me get this right, not only are you driving a Bluepuke, but it's a N/A ... AND you're bragging about beating a Turbo on a Turbo site?

I'll say one thing, you're either very ballsie, or very stupid ...

Either way, I think you're going to get on ok.

... they must be giving these damned SpewPrints away cheap ... :omg:

:omg:

Ken 24t,

I would like to say ballsie but it is most likely stupid,

Don't get me wrong though, I love the Blue Oval in most forms and

especially in the BA series. The XR6T is a great symbol of what an

AUSSIE MUSCLE car can do even if its potential has not been fully

realised. Any Ford that can do a Expensive Daewoo is a good car in my books.

In saying that I still think the best way is in a V8.

To hell with the greenys,

To hell with the economists,

give me a gas guzzlin, low mileage to the litre,

big noisy V8.

Bye the way

WHATS WRONG WITH BLUEPRINT!!!!!!!!!

Must be the GT stripes and huge great spoiler on the boot that says, "No, that is definately not a police car" ;)

I have the other effect, people move over very quickly, but I also get heaps of 'tools' in all sorts of puny, uninspiring, low powered heaps of excretia wanting to 'take me on'............. :k24t:'s

Me too Al, then I look in the mirror and theres a bloody Police Car :k24t:

Your right about the ricers and tossers :ta: in the end I just got really dark window tint and ignor them, on the other hand theres also all the NICE people, especially the ones of female persuasion who just want to get near the car :ta: . Where has that Mercturbo gone, must be out on the roads having too much fun.

Hey siccar, the Turbo in standard form is a quick car but so is the XR8. The T at phase 1 bloody fast, phase 2 scarey, phase 3 don't embarrass yourself.

Out on the open road THE V8s RULE :k24t:

Hey Doc you must be joking .........a phase III T simply hoses a GT in every run I had with one ....I dont even bother any more....... the GT is simply too slow. Needs to go on a serious diet. :ta::k24t::ta:

Totally agree Peter. I was telling Siccar, not to embarass himself by getting hosed down by an APS stage 3. I know that even the standard porky GT is on the edge against a stage one, a worked GT only just over a stage 2, a worked GT no chance over a stage 3. But at least we don't shut down at 230kph, and the GT does handle better. :k24t:
