Mondie, I read your thread on FF you must be spewing getting stuffed about by eddie experts in suits. Mate I reckon your gonna have to yell louder. They don't do themselves any favours sometimes A. I would be spewing, my sympathies Al I have your Helix put away in a safe place and will send it when I get back @ 21st, in the meantime you will need to buy 1 throttle body gasket from FMC approx $7. I will be playing at Calder next Thurs so I'll get a feel for these FPV training days.

Awsome, no driveline shunt, fuel economy improving, as is power, uses no oil, no brake squeal on stock GT brakes, never stalled, no other issues other than a very slight diff whine that seems to be improving believe it or not, oh and the creaky console lid. Cheap Trick "Magical Mystery Tour" and "Dream Police' cranking at 20 foot flat I'm in heaven, bye for now!!!!Cheers Rob

Posted 22/05/04 09:06 AM Share Posted 22/05/04 09:06 AM Great to hear Rob,Same here, the issues I've got are fairly minor and livable, except for the bloody brake squeal.....yep the ol sows are back in heat again!! Will be giving FPV a tinkle on Monday.Oil consumption is fairly minor, the way I drive it's to be expected. Will be doing an oil change next week and I'm putting 10W Formula R in (you listening Daveo!!) All I can say Rob is you are not driving the car hard enough! Short shifter and underdrive pulleys are being fitted on Wednesday! Don't know about 'Cheap Trick' but Anastacia has been copping a flogging on the Premium sound lately.

His machine definately flies. So you have the squeal? Do you think FPV will care ALA Mondie. The 10w oil is that an experiment or are people finding it helps? As far as not driving hard enough that very well maybe the case. Im always copping flak from the missus almost every time we go out, she's alway's hangin onto the grab handle for my turns, I kindly drop her off then go "GT'n" at least once a week, usually late at night, have some "quality time" with my "other girl"Anyway Cheers Rob

Don't worry Rick, remember I know how that thing goes, Im just waiting to see if the car continues its good form for a couple more months, to see if any painful issues come up before deciding which road to go, if she's going as good then, I will likely "add" a few items, CAI, Unichip, underdrives. 30-40Kw will do meCheers Rob
