;)

Hi all Fordy people out there, had my GT in for its 3 - 5000 klm peace of mind check and an oil change yesterday, its got 4100klm on the clock now and is going for a long fly to Qld on 10th April, where it will stop on the gold coast so Lachlan can have a tickle with the electronic brain. (looking forward to going home for a couple of weeks). Anyway a few klms on the V8s seems to loosen them up very well, and the Nullabor will be an interesting experience, oohhhh that 90 mile straight

I was thinking that now may be the time to get an official defectors club happening as quite a few members seem to be desirous of an extra 2 cylinders. Looking for names and build numbers of any and all GT drivers.

Mines, No 732, Blueprint, 5 speed man.

when do we get pics doc?

;)

Hi Owna, let me tell you I've got an MD, a Ph.D. and all those academic pieces of paper, I got a digital camera, I got a digital Video camera, I got a digital video player, I've got 3 computers and a laptop, and I think my better half even has a digital vacuum cleaner along with every other household accessory known to woman, but I can't even sort out a decent Avatar for my ID on the site. Absolutely bloody hopeless when it comes to computers and digital technology. I think trying to get to the end of "Alex The Kid In Miracle World" on a Sega game in about 1990 burned me forever, yes I did get there after staying up till 2am every night for about 3 months (sad but true). But if you go to a post in chit chat, brutes in WA, Redhawk posted it a couple of weeks ago, he took some photos of both cars. We met for a chat and a cuppa when he was getting his centres mufflers done. He is an official expert at all this digital stuff. Just goes to show you can do 10 years of study and training and still be a klutz.(who said that):nod:

Cheers, Bazza.

Bazza,

I'm doing the Rock-vegas trip too this Easter (my old uni stomping ground). Plan to drive in on April 7 and head back south on the 13th. Would be kewl to catch up if you're in town at the same time. PM me if it's a possibility.

Just gotta get a good headstart on my FBT miles. Me thinks a nice 4000km round trip within the first two weeks of the new FBT year should make my accountant nice and happy...

LC,

Same here, We do it every year for the same reason. Last year we got smart and bought an investment property up there so we can claim the trip as a tax deduction for inspecting the house  (if we happen to visit family/friends at the same time that's just our good luck :ta: )

I will check our schedule with SWMBO and PM you soon.

Cheers, Bazza.
