The short graphs always make things look more dramatic and you wont make anything decent after 5000rpm on BF with stock dump. Usually 18-19psi max on 98, otherwise its a heap of power for a stock dump and ebay intercooler.

Why'd you remove the Nizpro cooler in the first place?

It was a first generation nizpro cooler they are only rated for 350rwkw. We had it up to 380rwkw but it was suffering. There is still more in the turbo so thought I would upgrade.

Mate you probably wouldn’t have floating valves if it had a realistic boost target in it 21+ PSI is just too much for what it’s making

I agree mate. Springs are a given though and I should have done them sooner anyway really.

Theres more to the story but ultimately my requirements were not met. I'm looking for a few more things to get like a dump etc and mentally preparing myself to fork out again for another fresh tune in the new year.

My BF2 springs were good to just on 18psi. I put a new set in a year later though. Surely you wont have to pay for another 'full' tune. Its really just a touch up tune, most tuners are doing those for under $500 now.

PS BH101-24 Valve springs are from https://performancesprings.com.au/46-cylinder-singles/

You can get them off eBay they are quality springs I use them with no issues and some parts stores sell them for a lot more.

I ordered some dominator springs, saw Scotty from Carnage fit them, looked pretty good so pulled the trigger.

The retunes are cheap, hourly rate for dyno time only so its not too bad. See how I go in the new year!

Yep guess I know what I'm doing over Christmas. Cylinder 4 @ 80 psi and the rest around 150. Some smoke coming out of the oil filler cap too which makes me think a ring issue. Might look into it a little more but I see a fresh engine coming sooner rather than later what ever the problem might be.

a ring issue.

A broken ring land or 3 from a detonation event. Find a second hand piston and ring assy, slap it in and get it retuned to a safer level.
