Hi flow vs smashed cat

Hey all about to get a whole heap of mods done to my T and am debating between hollowing out my original cat or replacing it with a hi-flow. I live in Tasmania so do not have to worry about emissions or anything.

I want a bit more noise from my car and was wondering if hollowing it out would be the way to go. Cheers

you'll hardly gain any noise (if any at all) with the comparison of a hollowed vs high-flow cat, but you'll likely gain flames out the exhaust on over-run with the empty cat.

the EPA is a federal law, so yes, you do have to deal with emissions... if the EPA chose to enforce in Tasmania, you'd be at risk if you did it.

it's not really worth the risk of hollowing one out, but it is a cheap and aesthetic mod (flames).
