I dropped the box off and they did the conversion then I picked it back up again to put back in the car. Theres a fair amount of custom machining, they said it was about a days work in that. They have to make the 6r80 shaft fit the zf internals. As arronm said just ask whoever your getting to do the conversion if itll be a direct fit or if theyll need the box.
