Thanks brian.

Any thoughts yet on the suspension. I'm about to do mine and was thinking going the tein coil overs and front whiteline 26mm bar and spherical links. That way I can get the ride height exactly where I want it, but it's a lot dearer than going Bilsteins and King springs and the Teins are fully rebuildable and you can change the damper settings from within car with the extra controller. $3K vs $1.5K.  Many rave about the Bilstein setup though.

Go the Teins, I have the bilsteins/kings/whiteline setup and sometimes I kick myself that I should have gone the teins,as much as they make a huge difference I think the control you get with the coils would be well worth the extra dollars spent, especially if you plan on doing track work or alot of twisty roads... saying that I still love the setup I have at the moment

No track work forecast, but yes it's all about the twisty roads. It's not a city car, but a touring car.

Just as they have all said Brian, Thankyou for probably the most informative thread regarding the Nizpro kits I have ever read.

Plenty of people have seen these kits after they are installed, but I bet not a lot have seen the process that is involved to do so. Right down to the thermostat housing, there is more to the kits than I was to think anyway.

Its easy to see the professionalism from everyone at Nizpro in allowing you to take all those shots to make up such a thread.

Thanks again!

Nice write up Brian, excellent pics and words - thanks so much for the informative thread. congrats too to Nizpro for what's obviously a great drive-in, drive out package. How lucky for the BF F6 owners that have decent rods in their cars from std.

One thing I noticed was the setup of your blowoff valve. I would have thought you would have the actual valve close to the throttle body, with it's long hose back to the turbo inlet. This way that hose is not under boost pressure and you don't have it's volume being filled up and released all the time. Less fluctuations on the intake side.

Obviously it didn't affect the tuning THAT much but I just wonder if it would make a significant difference.

I don't think the volume is very large, but I take your point.

You could chose not to have a BOV, or something that does not plumb-back as per my blue car with the Turbosmart BOV (but subject to possible defect) ... see pic below from December 2003 (see the old XEDE)

Thanks and true.

There is a lot more work and time in the actual installation than I thought.

Some of the tools that they have make the job much easier e.g the compressor to assist in taking off the turbo and exhaust manifold bolts saved a lot of time; some of the wiring was more time consuming than I expected.
