Hi there DA HULKHave you stopped grinning yet? 293kW at the wheels..... That's almost 400 neddies ! fantastic. So what's it like with that much power in the manual ute? Have you still got the same exhaust, standard with modified centre muffler.I am currently looking at this kit any info would be great.thanks Andrew
DA HULK Member 12 Member For: 20y 9m 27d Posted 19/03/04 10:36 AM Author Share Posted 19/03/04 10:36 AM The kit I would say makes alot more than 350fwkw. it made that just by plugging it in and going before it was even tuned. the exhaust is still the same, just the centre section a bit more flowee. there is a lot more in this kit I believe. especially since the dyno was reading a 10.0 : 1 air fuel mixture.(mega phat) I had to ditch most of the capa gear. but I kept the intercooler waterspray. DA HULK Member 12 Member For: 20y 9m 27d Posted 19/03/04 10:40 AM Author Share Posted 19/03/04 10:40 AM The power in the ute feels great. you still know she is heavy though. the clutch won't get this beast off the hard for long so I just dump it now.is anyone else blown out about the traction in these things. Ithe manual feels great but it is obvious that the auto makes best use of the power after comparing with boost 6.valve springs are standard. The removal of around 19 feet of inlet piping makes throttle respone better, notwithsatnding the fact that it includes a much larger very effective intercooler. Daniel, you can have a drive of my car if you want... I'm sure it'll give you a different perspective on the matter.Go luck DA HULK.... you'll enjoy the Nizpro power.... with stage 2 you should be able to get to around 290rwkw. I'd advise that you also do the valve springs.Brian Looks like my estimate was about right.I don't think your clutch will last long.Put in more power & torque and your gearbox won't last long either.Valve springs change is highly recommended.Yes, there's heaps more potential power there for you. I expect my next little tweak with that Nizpro kit will take me to at least 360rwkw.Enjoy!Brian
DA HULK Member 12 Member For: 20y 9m 27d Posted 19/03/04 11:06 AM Author Share Posted 19/03/04 11:06 AM why valve springs? sounds strange considering rpm is unchanged
