I have a 2016 FGX turbo, and I bought a kit to replace the oil filter to the turbo with an in-line filter and flexible lines, but the fittings are the wrong size. I bought an adaptor for the turbo end (the kit fitting is 10mm but the thread is 12mm), but I don't want to proceed with the mod until I'm sure I have all the correct size bits. The banjo supplied is 14mm ID, but the existing (aluminium) banjo on my car appears much bigger. It's the type which fits onto the fitting in the block, and the banjo is held on by the 24mm nut which is on the part which screws onto the first fitting, and this second fitting has the oil pressure sensor connected to it. Can anyone confirm the diameter of the shaft where the banjo fits is actually 14mm? Mine is an ex-police unit and there seem to be some modifications (for example the fitting at the turbo end) and according to Ford the turbo has already been replaced once. The kit I bought is Kinugawa, but their turbo end fitting is 10mm and mine has a 12mm bolt and banjo at this end, so the block end may be different as well. There is an excellent description with photos here and the relevant photos are numbers 3 to 6. Thanks in advance.
