So we can agree it flows a large % more volume of air than the one it was tuned on previously ? 

 

A higher flowing exhaust creates a big change in the way the turbine wheel on the turbocharger spins thus creating a change in the way the turbocharger creates boost. This is a change in Load/reference points for what has been locked in place by your previous custom tune 

 

if you last tune is looking for “X,Y,Z” but now the turbo/engine is producing A,B,C we have a problem that can only be rectified buy modifying the old tune to see A,B,C ..... #easyas123
