It is not recommended to try and buy the parts on your own at a cheaper price.I did that and it worked out more expensive. What most people don't factor in, when getting quotes from the tuner(seems more expensive) is that the parts that they supply, they also fit.So the quote for a specific item is supplied and fitted!!!!!!They also seem to through in some freebeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees to. The other thing is that if you build up a good reputation with the tuner of choice, then you will also get excellent after sales support and servicing if need be. I have been burnt by the guys at MT, but they have since made it up to me in free servicing for certain issues I have had afterwards. There are people out that get the 57lb injectors and they do the job, but it is recommended to get the job done right the first time. Get Id1000 instead. This means that if further on down the track, when you want more power, you already have the supporting mods to go with a bigger turbo if need be. I didn't see an inter cooler in the list. I highly recommend getting an inter cooler as well. something like the PW stage 1 interccooler, will not require cutting of the car.I opted for a stage 2 because later on when I get my next stage of mods, I don't have to upgrade the IC.Yes it does work out to be more expensive to get the upgrades done in stages(a tune is required for each set of mods), but I could not afford to do it all at one go.Next on the list is a new turbo, clutch, drive shaft, quad tip exhaust and maybe CAI. that alone is going to cost me close to 8k. :( gotta win the lotto first.Try and work out how much power you want first and set a goal. If need be go to a few cruises and ask the guys to take you for a spin, so you can feel what the power feels like.I know Chris took me for a drive in his F6 and I crapped in my pants. that was scary stuff and was not what I wanted.I decided to initially settle for 300+ rwkw but I want more now. :DYou the one that will be making the final decision and we can only make recommendations. Each person is different, so what ever choice you make, will be what you will have to live with.Try and make it a happy experience and not a sad one, by getting an email tune. I spent a fair amount of time looking for cheaper parts and stuff and I did end up buying a venon 100c cat, which got my mods going, but I should have just gotten the exhaust upgraded.......You live and learn.Ohh and welcome to the forums.

If you want something that idles like stock with good economy get ID's, KPM's or even the generic Bosch 1000's are popular enough now tuners should be all over setting them up.
