+1 for congrats on the purchase, you'll enjoy the car. I'm really enjoying driving the manual again and too be honest I'm dragging my feet on putting the ba up for sale as I don't reeeeeeally want to let it go.

Everyone has a budget to work to and I think for 10k Jamo's onto a good thing, and like I said on the email I hope to see you out on a cruise sometime.

Manual FTW!! Congrats on the buy.

How can one get sick of manual. They are so much fun.

PS there is a cruise on tonight from another forum. Keep an eye on the WA section of the forum.

hey guys, im already commited on buying this car on monday for $8k. just wanting to get some opinions on it. I took it for a test drive and it drove smoothly with no unwanted sounds, no turning problems or anything really. the interior is in good nick as well, nothing peeling and no stains. the guy selling is a family man and basically everything so far seems pretty good, is $8k a fair price? any opinions on the LPG injection?

cheers

The 4spd autos in the ba's are especially sh*t as well, good choice going manual in a BA

Think the 5spds break easy though my mate had to do a couple of rebuilds

HAHA the ol' T5's aren't that bad, if you rebuild em right!! :P

But yeah they really enjoy excessive power much that's for sure. Definitely wasn't going for the 4 speed, would have held out for a ZF Box IF I had to go auto, but yea the T56 was always the preferred option :) ... 24 hours to wait!

I like the darker colour the car has been given so hopefully it treats you well and we see you out on the next cruise Jamo!
