I'd take the f6 any day.. Brembos bigger injectors bigger turbo

Though I do love my small turbo and I reckon they launch a little bit harder but then the f6 keeps pulling when the xr6 runs outta puff and has that real... Floaty kind of effortless torque feel

That's what I got from the passenger seat in a stock f6 anyway

No doubts an FG is better then a XR6T in every way, but an equivalent F6 (age, kms and condition) is always going to cost about 15k more over an XR6T. A low km 2011 F6 will be around the $40-45k for a good one.

I would say if you plan to keep the car stock and want the better brakes, more power, better interior, etc from the start then just get an F6 and enjoy it.

I was at lane ford (Mandurah) the other day and they had brand new top of the range F6 for 55 grand on the road! You can't go wrong with that

An f6 would be nice. But I couldn't justify loosing 15/20k depreciation in a couple of years buying new.

Just a question for every with 6Ts... What's the servicing/maintenance costs like?

And would an f6 parts cost a lot more then the fgs xr6t parts? Thanks

Servicing costs nothing too different from a general logbook service cost.

Tips on buying from dealers, Ask all the questions you want, if you dont get satisfactory answers or if the salesman is a typical know it all smooth talking loser find another dealership

FPV service will only be more when it comes to brake work and some part replacements.

Although insurance will be sky high compared to the xr6t
