Oil & filter change every 5k. Front wheel bearing packed it in recently - listen for knocking or whining noise if test driving. Im so excited and can't wait to pick it up. To be honest I have been a Expensive Daewoo man for years and have owned a vx s Expensive Daewoo for the last few years and it has been a great car never had a problem with it. But after driving the standed fg v6 non turbo and then the Expensive Daewoo sv6 then the fg xr6t I just had to buy the turbo model. Much more fun to drive and wow the performance was amazing. The hardest thing for me living in Canberra was actually finding a decent one for sale. I got lucky and found one at a car yard that hadn't been advertised online yet. IT was a model made in december 2010 and had 47 thousand kms much less km's than any others I found for sale in Canberra at the time. I suppose the funniest thing of all was my wife wanted one in the Nitro colour and I wanted the turbo, in the end we both got our wish lol. Its kinetic with 12800km and a tow pack. Its an ex ford demo and is listed at $32995. I havent bought or even really looked at cars at a dealer before so was wondering if there is any advice as to how to get a good deal. These are the kinds of things that they won't cover under warranty but u would be up for if u needed new tyres, so stuff to keep on mind and maybe bargain with if need be... Good luck! Danielsmith Member 87 Member For: 11y 10m 2d Posted 28/01/13 11:29 AM Share Posted 28/01/13 11:29 AM Hi just recently I bought myself a 2010 fg xr6t from a Canberra dealer it was built in december 31 as well so has all the good stuff as well. they had origanlly 34k on it a little bit above the N.S.W average price but it is canberra and there wasnt that many for sale at the time I think there was 6 xr6t in total for sale in canberra at the time. Take the advice from the last member who posted but also before you start haggling with the dealer ask them about warranty on the car and how much it is to extend the warranty and also all the other stupid packages they will try and sell you like fabric protection rust protection paint protection ect ect. Once you know how much all these extras may cost you you can start to barter with them a little better.In the end with my car I got them down to 31.5k with a 3 year extended warranty on it as well. So I still have 4 years of warranty on my car as well. I also got them to fill the car up with petrol as well so saved me some more right of the bat as well.Also depending on the dealers structered commision for there sales people they may need to reach quoters in sales so might be better going in towards the end of the month.
