Service history and general appearance will explain alot about the life expectancy. Are you going to mod it?

TheOne Member 80 Member For: 13y 14d Gender: Male Posted 18/12/12 07:07 AM Share Posted 18/12/12 07:07 AM Motors can take plenty of abuse, as long as they're kept up with oil the motor should be sweet, its the rest of the car you've got to worry about. An FG model shouldn't be too much to worry about, BA-BF you've got to start looking at swapping out plenty of suspension components, bushes etc.

BA mkII had the Tremec T56 6 speed manual gearbox (same one as the BFs). Basically the same car as a BF mkI except for the small increase in power and different front bumper bar. If you're keeping stock power levels it shouldn't be a really big issue. BA mkII onwards had the auto light feature.

Depends on goals really as usual.
