awesome feedback guys, thanks a lot, yeah il keep an eye out for a nice g6e, the more I wait I think the better it will be, might be able to pick one up with some decent mods and save $$$

only risk is if its been modded and thrashed but then again ive been in the car scene a while and most guys that mod sensibly cherish there cars and yeah have a thrash here and there but they also keep the services up and take care of them, like me :)

if anyone thinks they may sell soon let me know!!

I think a car that has been owned by a car enthusiast and driven spiritedly is better than a nanad one driven at idle

yeah I agree, and also there more likely not going to take it to cheapo mechanics for servicing using sh*t oil etc.....

I also prefer manual transmissions and have owned turbo imports in the past.
I bought a G6ET and haven't regret it at all, but sometimes I do wish it was a manual and if it was my only car I probably would convert it to manual, but the ZF is a lot better than other autos I've driven and works really well. It suits what I use the car for very well.
I also own a VX Clubsport R8 that I bought as a family car but got bored of the auto so converted it to a 6-speed manual.

If you think you might get bored of the auto I would test drive a G6ET and an XR50T then decide.

In my opinion the pros and cons of the auto are:
Pros
-quick
-smooth
-very easy to drive

Cons
-expensive to service
-heat exchanger has a history of failure

I came from an fc rx7 and now have a FGT.

I'll just put it this way. If mazda built a new turbo model of the rx7, I would drive my car into a lake, walk to mazda with the insurance money and hug the salesman before I drove out the dealer with my new ride.

Expensive to service? I think they are one of the cheapest cars to service but that depends on where you go as well.
