$20,000 is going to get you a good BF, but for an FG it will generally have high KM, and with that comes the problems you are going to expect.

If you can find a good FG, I would buy the FG anyday over the BF they are awesome cars.

FG has more low down power.

Don't pay 20 for a bf. you could however get a bf for 15k and spend 5k on mods ;)

I love the small turbo on the fg though it leaves a lot of cars in the dust!

Looking at buying an 2006 bf xr6 turbo. Not 100% sure if genuine, have checked the vin but even that is giving an exact answer, so the model no. On the car is 18535, and he vin does correspond with other xr6t I have checked but wondering if the compliance place is meant to read "xr6t" as this one only says "bf xr6".

Hi guys new to xr6ts.

Basically looking at buying myself a fg xr6t, in the auto 6 speed.

I don't live anywhere near a ford dealer( I'm talking 1500kms away) I live up north in WA. Anyways, I've found a few that I like on carsales, one in particular- 2011 nitro blue, $29000, 25000kms...

Do use think that is a decent price, also any tips on how to get it cheaper ect( over the phone, or I may even fly down to Perth if I find one I really like) I've never brought from a dealer before...

Thanks a lot Mitch

Noob to Audi, after some advice for my new baby.
