As said already take it for a drive, you might find you don't like that much power, especially if you're only thinking of having a lot less power than this one, can't know but yeah you would want to know that you don't mind how mental to drive this might be. Have to weigh up if it'll be a daily and how it drives for what you want it for. Probably be a wicked beast but you have to know what you're getting yourself into.

If it works out it'll be unreal, so long as its not 60k kms at wot lol

So much better to buy something already done, get the motor checked before purchasing by a reputable workshop, even throw it on the dyno to check the tune that's in it. If he wants to sell it he wont have any hesitation if he has nothing to hide.

I'd definately get it for that price, pity its a manual.

Great thread and some really sage advise. I'm just starting to have a look around for an XR6 Turbo. For the money I want to spend, I'll be looking at getting a BF or a BF2. I find it strange that cars in Victoria around $2k more than the equivalent in NSW or QLD. If I can make the numbers work after the cost of changing over the rego then I might go look at that option. Standard BF2 in Vic starts at around $17k whereas a very low km BF2 in QLD with 300rwkw, leather etc is about $1k less . A stock BF2 in NSW can be found for $14.5k Anyway, I'm looking forward to the experience of owning my first Ford since I had a ZF 5.8l Fairlane in the late 1980's.

I just got back from a long day of driving. Drove to ballina to check out that 750hp ute. Man it was pretty fkn sweet! I didn't get to drive it (was too scared to anyway). Lol. But he took me for a drive in it. Was sweet. Could possibly be too quick for me maybe? Lol but I do love it. Maybe I could get another tune that had less boost? Or should I steer away and look at henz' ute or the others that have been suggested (jd and spazzo. Which I have yet to see?!)

At the end of the day. I'm still in the same position. Haha it's a sweet ute and I could definitely see myself driving it every day.
