Hey folks

I bought a 30-pin bluetooth streaming receiver. Basically you slap one in place of the old iPods, pair it with your phone and the music is going out the analogue wires of the 30-pin.

The challenge is that it does not have a digital out, that is Ford does not detect an iPod is connected,

so the dash is in external 3.5mm AUX socket mode no matter what I do. I mean there is nothing really to do except modifying the circuit, or buying something else.

Is there a way to trick the system into thinking iPod is present? When it is not.

or what else can I do to make bluetooth streaming from multiple sources a reality in my Falcon XR50?

Not gonna work.
Either get a Bluetooth or fm receiver for the headphone jack.
Or
Get a kayhan overpriced average head unit upgrade.

I have one of these and it works great:

Not sure if it allows multiple devices to connect simultaneously though, if that's what you are after. I had a Kinivo one that did, but it didn't last very long.

If you wire in an extra USB power source behind the dash, you can reduce the cable clutter significantly.
