Hi guys

I'm looking at doing a bit more work to my fg xr6 turbo

It is currently making 310 take with a few upgrades

They include; 1000cc injectors, walbro 460 fuel pump, turbo side intake, venom high flow cat, intune motorsport stage 2 intercooler kit and a tune from Jake's performance.

I'm currently ready and looking to buy the following; turbo back exhaust (xforce) 4" dump to twin 2.5", billet oil pump gears, crow cams valve springs, GTX3582R turbo charger (with the falcon rear housing), 14psi actuator, and a pwr trans cooler.

I'm looking at making high 300rwkw reliable and pulling back a bit to save my zf6 auto until I improve it. What else do I need to reach these numbers and any little things I should look at such as gaskets

Thanks.

You might wanna chuck a fuel reg and relay in there and mod the swirl pot, depending on how your tuner feels about the 460 situation.

Are you gonna do all the work yourself?

Not all the work

I can install the exhaust and trans cooler myself but I'll leave everything else to my experienced mechanic

Any recommendations on a fuel reg and relay?

The relay is just to give the fuel pump whatever volts the battery has opposed to the 11 to 12 volts that come from the fuel pump feed. Here is a description of the why and how.

There is a video clip on this page that shows some interesting fuel reg results. The website also has plenty of support for the barra. The turbosmart FPR800 is generally recommended on this forum for your power goals.

At higher power levels the fuel gets sloshed to the back of the tank when you floor it. That will make the engine lean out at about the 1/3 to 1/2 tank or so level. You could fit a surge tank to counteract this, or you can just make sure that the tank is always kept over half, or you don't floor it when the fuel is low.
