I got my car towards the end of December and still have a huge grin every time I drive it. I upgraded from a AUIIXR6 and there is just no comparison. The power of the thing is just fantastic.

I've had mine just over two weeks....and one word STUNNING. The leather is great, so is the sunroof and the premium sound is brilliant. You will love it. The amount of looks I've been getting is getting amazing and it's a Expensive Daewoo magnet....every time I drive her she attracts SS's like a moth to a flame.

How many of you lucky buggers who have already got your cars been able to line up next to an SS at the lights?

Has anyone taken theirs onto a drag strip yet, I will be taking mine to a willowbank test and tune ASAP. I will let you know how I go.

Thanks, cvanxr, you've settled my mind a little. What options did you have on the AUII? I've just told the dealer to add the Premium brake kit to my BA as I'm afraid I'll miss it.

I came from a 99 AU XR6. I enjoyed that car but it would feel very crude if I drove it now compared to the XR6T. I have found since taking delivery of the "T" in mid Dec 2002, both my fitness and the relationship with my mother has improved. "why's that" you ask

well firstly, I go to the gym at lunchtime, so now I find that I rarely miss a session because I get to take the "T" for a ten minute drive at midday to the gym.

secondly, my mum lives on a small farm 50km north of Perth. she has had more visits from me this last two months than in the last two years.

Took delivery this week and am one happy chappy :oooh:

Changed over from a VX 'S'. Only driven 190ks so far, but impressions are:

- its got power to burn

- the engine sound is great, and I have found myself turning off the radio so I can listen to it (particularly when the turbo is really winding up)

- looks fantastic (especially compared to the new VY  )

- suspension is improved over previous falcons, but still a little too soft on undulating roads (particularly when encountering many bumps in quick succession)

- speedo looks good, but can be a little hard, at a glance, to tell how fast you are going

- dash is a little cheap looking, given the price of the car (in the VX, there was very little difference if any in appearance b/w the leather steering wheel and the dash. In the BA, the difference is obvious)

- like the Expensive Daewoo key better, where everything (engine, doors etc..) is operated from the one thing

Overall, more than happy :oooh:

Picked mine up yesterday, upgrading from an AU2 XR6 ute ('bout time I change the avatar eh) to a 't' ute, manual with big brakes the only option.

I have been walking/driving around with a massive cheese eating grin on the front of my head ever since.

I LOVE IT!!
