Hey team,

So about 3 weeks about I purchased a 2006 manual BF F6 Typhoon sedan, and 2 weeks ago the oil pump gears shattered at high RPM. So, I'm at the stage of rebuilding the motor with new billet gears, new timing chain, valve springs etc and the factory turbo has 160,000kms on it and is a bit tired with a fair amount of shaft play.

I know SFA about turbos and I've spent the last 3 days confusing myself with a lot of GT GTX and a sh*tload of numbers I dont understand. Looking at the best option to get this turbo overhauled, purchased a new turbo, high flow this turbo etc. around $1000.

This build is getting stupidly expensive very quickly so need to do the best with what cash is left to make sure the turbo can keep up.

TIA
