k31th less WHY; more WOT Site Developer 29,006 Member For: 16y 7m 22d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 24/02/19 12:10 PM Share Posted 24/02/19 12:10 PM Take off the rear heat shield and the dump pipe and have a look at the movement of the actuator and flapper... and if you can connect a compressor to the actuator to see if it correctly actuates and the flapper opens fully when at the right pressure (the actual stock number changes depending on what actual model you've purchased). Nah, they don't have to be tuned via sct... they can be tuned via hptuners and pcmtec, too. If you can prove via a compressor that it's opening at hte correct pressure, then it's probably got a tune in it. Take it to ford and get them to put a stock tune back in it, if your car has all stock parts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
