FG-X Turbo.

I am about to order a Brembo 6/4 kit - and wheels also.

Before I order the wheels, I want to ensure they will fit over the brakes.

The wheels are 19" Work Emotion Kiwami. Has anyone fitted these before?

If not, could someone help me out with the following measurements?

Thanks

If I can fit 18" rotas with 6/4 brembos I'd be confident work 19s would do it easy.

If no one else helps out pm me and I'll measure them up when I get home tomorrow arvo.

the only way if you know it'll 100% clear brembo's is to actually do the measurements on your vehicle (or test-fit to a brembo fitted vehicle or know of somebody who has this wheel and brake combo you're looking for), imho.

If anyone else needs the info.
Took the measures with a tape measure and a straight edge on the measured part so it may be off slightly.

Good Afternoon @dubfreer01

Thanks for tagging me. Haven't visited in years but happy to contribute.

The wheel specifications were as follows

REAR

WORK EMOTION CR2P 5-114.3 BLK 19 X 10.0 +55 R-DISK, GLOSS BLACK CENTER DISK, GLOSS BLACK ANODIZED LIP - FLAT RIM

NOTE: I had a rear link kit from SuperPro which allowed the 10 inch rim on the rear

FRONT

WORK EMOTION CR2P 5-114.3 BLK19 X 8.5 +35 R-DISK, GLOSS BLACK CENTER DISK, GLOSS BLACK ANODIZED LIP - FLAT RIM

FINDINGS

1. At those offsets there was plenty of room between the rim and the brakes (front rims would have looked better with less offset and closer to guards)

2. At those front offsets Pirelli PZero PZ4 didnt fit as PZ4 has a wide sidewall which hit the suspension on the inner section. Pirelli PZero did fit

3. At those rear offsets and with SuperPro rear link kit fitted a Mickey Thompson 285 Street ET was a perfect fit (also little loss of traction even in first gear WOT [at 460rwkw] if tyre pressure is < 30ish PSI)

4. Given there was plenty of room between the rim and the brakes a deeper concave may have been achievable which would have looked ALOT better (flat concave is not ideal  - try and get at least a semi concave as they look fantastic on the CR2P) - Use Leonardo who JDM concepts to your advantage - he is knowledgeable on what will fit

5. Dont gutter rash the rims - I did 1 - takes several months to order/arrive/fix

I no longer have the XR6T. Now I have an XR8SPRINT

6. Consider acquiring XR Sprint Rims - they look fantastic, good quality, fit under the brakes... not quite as light as the work rims though

Hope that helps

James
