When the outside temperature is above 35ish degrees and I'm running the aircon the car gets hot with temp gauge slowly rising in suburban/moderate traffic. Eventually the temp gauge will near 3/4 and the aircon will start blowing hot air as the car shuts the a/c compressor off. It won't kick back on and start blowing cool air again until the temp gauge drops below the halfway mark again. Coolant has been flushed multiple times, just has the standard radiator, thermostat has been changed to one that opens earlier. Fans kick on as per normal can't figure out why the car is overheating. Any ideas/help much appreciated. Thanks

Does it heat up as much in the 1st place if the aircon isn't turned on?

Are both fans running flat out with A/C on? Could the radiator be partially blocked- remember air has to get in as well as out when you say flushed do you mean removed & flushed at a radiator place?
