I have never had an issue with them before as they have been fitted to my Late model camira for several years without a problem.... no yellowing of lenses of wiring issues. I am of the belief that the business about melting the lenses etc is utter garbage as the additinal heat produced is minimal. The power through the wiring and relays is a consideration but the BA sensibly has separate and appropriately rated fuses for high and low and for each side thus I never was concerned until it blew. It could have been a fault in the globe...who knows. Anyway then did a long evening's search using Google search engine for headlamp and globes, xenon and drilled down through various web-sites butI have not kept the links. The reports I used as the basis for selection were independant British tests. On the basis of those reports I then bought the Osram Silverstar Xenon H4s which were the standouts and have proved to be excellent. I checked with my local auto electricians who are very straight and old fashioned in their approach to business and a good source of solid even if unimaginative advice. They were quick to state of all the globes they had and they had more than I can imagine but not the Osrams, the Phillips Xenons were the standout. I used these for the inner high beams. With Phillips in standard wattage there are four H4 options. As I recall three were 'blue'. Of the three, there is only one that is truly legal on normal public highway and those are the Xenons I selected. Safe driving.. As the normal lights didn't need to be bright at all. It was the high beams that do all the work when the road is dark.
