Hi all, im currently building my first barra it came out of a G6ET 2011 and is going in my fg ute.

The engine will be dropped in next august.

About the engine: like previously stated its out of a 2011 g6et with 100xxx on the clock.

I picked up everything except the exhaust and diff by the looks of things it is stock as a rock eg: stock turbo stock air intake stock injectors and all the rest.

To start with I want to make decent power, Im aiming for 500+rwkw!!!

So where exactly do I start? Before being dropped in it will have all compretion tests and the rest I'll also be upgrading

Crow race valve springs

Billet oil pump gears

what other internals should I be looking at for this kind of power?

Once its in ill go GTX gen2, turbo side intake, walbro 480, ID1050 injectors, full 4inch exhaust, nizpro or process west intercooler, head studs

And have it set up to be running e85

Im looking to add to this and im here for some direction! Any advice is good I have a fair idea but its always better to get a second opinion.

Thanks in advance ?

:Welcome2FordXR6t: for both of you guys.

ID1050's probably won't make 500rwkw on E85, but otherwise, those mods will get close, you'd think.

Have a look around the 500rwkw+ section (or the bigger ones) and get some ideas on what people have actually done to get those figures :spoton: :icon_ford:
