Yeah little late to the party, but hey better late then never. And yes, but that's why my head is at the machine shop now. Received some damage in shipping from rubbing on a nailhead.

Well hell! If you are ever up my way let me know. I'd love to see your car when it's done.

Check out my FB page. I set it up to show some of the cool builds I have either done or helped on.

Here is the cad drawing for my Mod motor to Barra transmission adapter plate.

The Mod motor starter location interferes with the block on the Barra. So It will be blocked off on the transmission and become a structural mounting point. This adapter will use a Mod motor starter rotated to mount in the Barra mounting position. This will require a small notch to be cut out of the transmission.

I will post pictures of the first test piece soon.

If it were easier to import these engines Australia would soon have a shortage. But given the hurdles required to jump just to get them here is a big turn off to a lot of people.

I will have to do the same thing for my trans, wanting to use a 6 speed, Nissan transmission. A buddy of mine makes kits currently for the CD009, to a lot of different blocks, so should be an interesting combination.

This company makes an adapter to make a CD009 accept a T56 bellhousing. Use this adapter plate on the transmission then you will be able to use a factor Barra T56 bellhousing.
