A quick pic of the test cut of my Barra to Mod Motor adapter plate. Also some pic of my new rims and one of my son caught in the act of stealing one of the rims.

I don't like how the stock throttle body location forces me to run the pipes over the valve cover, or use a throttle body relocation kit. I decided to do a little modifying.

This is very interesting to see. Thought about doing it like this but, may just end up making a actually front facing plenum. Your not worried about plowing issues? Are you keep the flapper setup in the runners?

I'll be porting the hell out of this intake and eliminating the flappers. I'll probably end up making a forward facing intake similar to the PlazmaMan or an RB26 with the front facing TB. I mainly did this out of curiosity. I want to see what I can do with the stock intake.

I just started watching that and they reckon they've got 14 degrees of timing in the vs barra ute at 18psi on aussie pump gas.

I can tell yas that it'll have nearly 10 degrees less than that for that boost level and you'd be pushing your luck running that much timing on e85.
