It definately fits, you can't use all the holes in the brackets for the DVD player. It has to sit slightly off.

Bodgy but it works.

Yeah I worked out you don’t need to drill the hole anymore. Got it in.  Now it’s got the comms error. I’ve checked all the plugs.  I’ve forced the big one right in as per instructions but still getting the error. I’ve retried the plug multiple times now even tried the cambus ones.

That plug needs to be pushed really hard and fast to get it seated properly.
sh*tty design, I had the same issue.
Real awkward to do with the whole thing hanging around assembled.

How much should be sticking out? I know the video says less than 1cm.  Seems to be more but I swear it cannot go anymore

Mine was the same, I had to unscrew it again to fix it up, the first and only time I did it. There is a levery bit on the back of the plug that you'll need to give a solid pressing to. Press the plug in then press the lever hard to seat the plug.

Puffwagon is the lever in the photo or is that a different plug.  Pic of plug as far as I can get it in. It looks and feels all the way in. The unit will power up and has sound to speakers but I have comms error on dash.

Hi evry1 I have seen these units aswell, an looking into putting one into my  BA xr6t ute, as I'm sick of the factory looks an having no bluetooth an a lack of usb input, might be able to hook up my kenwood amp an subs finally an have some decent tunes in my ute, havin sat nav an wifi is a major plus without having all the cords running over the centre console through out the car, big plus has many extra than can added like the dash cam an reversing cam, I certainly will invest in the unit an post the final installation pic's

I can't remember cos I only had my icc out once and it was a couple of years ago. I do remember that it felt like it was pressed all the way in when it actually wasn't.
