Hi All final update P.I.T.S dont have software to do dyno on fords so went to chip torque the guys there were nice.

Hooked car up it pushed 57kw and tried to tell me turbo had sh*t itself $3700 to fix when I said no and went to pick up they mentioned there

could be an exhaust blockage. Bought it home disconnected exhaust and went for a run problem gone. Had a high flow cat installed car goes great.

The guys at gold coast custom exhaust are awesome and would recommend them to everyone and the young bloke Steve is right into turbo fords.

I wouldn't recommend chip torque unless you have an endless bank account, they actually told me they couldnt test back pressure in exhaust on the dyno because of the

gas system (any dyno guys is this true) but charged me $255 to tell me it needs a turbo :veryangry:. I will try to upload some pics of the cat, this issue finally resolved.

well, they did give you an accurate response that your exhaust had a blockage, so I'd say that money wasn't wasted, even if they were a bit "not happy chappies" about it.

good job on getting it sorted, though :spoton:

You can't expect a workshop to look over and diagnose your car for free. Some things take time to find and that amount suggests they spent a couple of hours on your car. If they said your turbo is stuffed then it could be. They got the blocked exhaust part right.

Anyhow at least you got to the bottom of it. Celebration skids?
