Brian.

It was a pleasure to meet you and see your car at C & V last weekend. Whilst I will never mod my car to that extent I can appreciate what you have achieved. You should be very proud of your car.

I also appreciate the time and effort you have put into the research and development of your T and feel that you make a huge contribution to this forum with your knowledge and experience.

 awesome mods, bcl.

Really does show how the XR6T can be used as the platform for a true Ausie SUPERCAR, at a fraction of the cost.

I'll bet the performance is well ahead of any production car in excess of $200k.

cheers

tom

G'day Brian,

Did you say you'd had your car on a circuit(s)? If so, which one(s). I'd love to see your beast in action when it's full potential is being exploited. (ie. at a racetrack).

Have you got any lap-times for circuits you've been to?

Thanks

Scott

Thanks guys for the support.

As of now I'd prefer to not have any more references to the legal issue.

It's covered in other threads.

I'd prefer to keep the thread about my car mods.

Thanks,

Brian

Just to clarify about the alleged "thread-hijacking", bcl and I took that to private messaging and if bcl wishes to comment about what was discussed then I leave it to him, or I guess anyone could PM him, for details. In the meantime, from my side I was trying to be genuinely helpful and due to overwhelming enthusiasm to help on my part, I am now looking for the "Edit" button to make appropriate amendments to bcl's thread. However, I cannot find this elusive "Edit" button...is it only available to donating members? *scratches head*

In summary, I truly appreciate bcl's vehicle and his modifications. Thanks to his thoughtful gesture of PM'ing me, I am now more clearly aware of bcl's views and background which is why I would be delighted to retract anything that he considered offensive. Words do not exist which could adequately even begin to express my sincerest apologies if I have caused bcl or anyone else any grievance.

Safe and happy driving...Dr Z.

Every second car on the road is illegal if you ask me

That's a valid point. I've heard that as little as changing wheel sizes can mean the car is illegal. Again we need to hear some factual stories about refusal of insurance based on mods. I will be going the certificate way just in case though.

I agree whith whoever said the photos dont do the wheels justice! gotta love the Dish on the rears.

Look awesome

Heres a picture I took at C & V trying to capture the dish in Brians wheels.

Looks good in the picture but still doesn't do it justice.

Hey Brian, great informative thread - as usual, but I noticed that your last photo of your rear brake setup, is not a rear , but a front.

Keep up with your posting, it's a great read. :nuts2:

Thanks Sharkey for the picture.

Thanks Rowlan for spotting that mistake.

I updated/correct that earlier post, and re-attach a picture of the front alcons, showing how they are fitted from the inside. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Brian
