FGs seem to be a lot cheaper to make fast initially.

XFORCED Member 42 Member For: 14y 1m 20d Posted 11/01/11 10:55 AM Share Posted 11/01/11 10:55 AM with a motor like that you will want to chase over 450rwkw. Go a full 4" zorst system else if you go a 3.5" that will be limiting your power outcome.full built motor + goodies + to4z == 4" systemThanks for the info guys. I could go for 450rwkw plus but this engine is going into a XF which will be roughly 500kg lighter then the previous BF it came out of. I definately think the To4z is the way to go, with either a 3.5 or 4 inch system strapped on will be a killer setup. the engine and box I picked up has all the stage 3 gear inside, stud and girdle and billet oil pump gear and the stage 2 gear strapped on also twin plate clutch. will be selling the I/C and piping kit and going for a plazmaman and aluminium I/c piping mad to fit into the xf, will be rolling and flaring the rear guards to run 11 inch wide semi slicks to get the power down. Yeah there may be better bits but I drove in and drove out and Simon is always there to answer questions and doesnt talk sh!t.My dynoed at 372 but there was 12 - 18 kw of wheel slip which didnt get "added on"In any case I know I'm fully EPA compliant and it looks the good to me. The driveability of the car is oustanding. Taking the kids to school its just a normal BF.I do like the Plazmann coolers and my surge tank is a Process West. But I will NEVER say another tuner or another brand is crap but people seem to want to say that about Nizpro. Always amazes me.Anyway mate, if you have a Stage 3 motor it will go like a cut cat if you do the right stuff with it. Call Simon, explain what you have go and he will direct you. You should probably take it back to them once you have it fitted as they will have the file on the engine and what has been done to what and willbe able to compare it to the original tune. Simon is blunt so be prepared for it but he tells it like it is.Sorry if others disagree. I don't wish to get into a blew about tuners and who did what to who. I agree Nizpro stuff is expensive but I made my choice. The guy asked about a Nizpro engine. I'm just replying.

I will be talking to Nizpro soon once the engine is fitted to see where to go with the exhaust and turbo, am also considering some Atomic Cams to make the little bugger a little grumpy on idle. I wish I didnt have to be at work so I could get my butt home and have more time to work on the body to get it ready.

Isn't the factory cat pretty on the limit anyway? So if your cat is even slightly more high flow (which I assume it will be) then that is illegal. Ive definately seen some 350rwkw XR's getting around that have heaps better economy then stock
