After doing a search I believe its the Heater Rod & 'possibly' not a dash out job being an FG. Is this correct & if so does anyone diagram how to do it. Space Ace Member 446 Member For: 19y 11m 4d Location: Melbourne, Victoria Posted 18/06/18 01:25 AM Share Posted 18/06/18 01:25 AM had the exact same problem on G6ET years ago... unfortunately the whole dash had to come off for them (Ford) to fix it... and in the process they damaged my steering wheel, centre console & couple of other things which they had to also replace under warranty (still had to argue it though)... and let me tell you this, ever since it got replaced & I change from any setting to the windshield setting, there's always an audible noise/thud...
