I'm getting a brand new Turbo (fitted by Turbo Tech) with ceramic bearings for the 'Phoon tomorrow. Now I know the turbo is the same as the XR6 but they are set to different levels. My phoon should be 9.3 Psi. When turbo tech put the new turbo in will it be the same as the previous output at 9.3, or should I mention this to them? Thanks for any help Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/93849-will-i-still-have-the-same-boost/ Share on other sites

It might get there faster with better bearings, but it's unlikely you'll really notice it. It should be like this -> A 1.06 A/R T3 flanged, internal gated (5 bolt), exhaust housing and a 0.5 A/R compressor housing. Compressor wheel inducer diameter: 61.4mm Compressor wheel exducer diameter: 82.0mm Turbine wheel diameter: 68.0mm Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/93849-will-i-still-have-the-same-boost/#findComment-1655341 Share on other sites

Make sure the wastegate actuator is moved over from the original turbo to the new one.
