But most likely, there'll be almost no effect to changing the actuator to a 7psi on a stock car without tuning it. Only a BA XR6T with 5-6PSI stock will possible overboost to 7psi, but the stock tune probably has margin for that small amount of overboost. It's only necessary to change the actuator if the current one can't control boost. The stock one always can and you only need to upgrade it if you're changing the tune as well which obviously has more boost. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
