I have a complete aftermarket stereo system and have the stupid alternator whine. stereo bloke that installed it can not work out how to fix. he has put in noise filters everywhere, replaced amp, re checked all wiring, alternator suppressor. he seems to think that some ba's have this issue and and others dont. yeah I keep clearing all the codes but they all seem to come back. just really want to know what the ecu fault under aufio control module would mean. Clear codes, pull the battery off overnight and see how it goes. If the car is running fine - ignore the codes with the knowledge that one day it may not start B1342 ECU Is Faulted.
